Well the last couple of days have not been super awesome for deliciouscode.com. I originally installed Lighttpd on my server but the fastcgi, ruby, php-cgi combo caused it to spawn a lot of processes resulting on no more memory and everything stopped working. This happened everytime Lighttpd was started but I didn’t notice it before today.
So now I’ve moved the homepage to apache2 which seems to be a lot better. Sadly I haven’t figured out how to get rails working properly yet (and believe me, I’ve tried) so Redmine isn’t working yet. This sucks since I’ve really come to like Redmine as an issue tracker. So I’ll continue trying to get it to work which might bring the homepage down for a few seconds once in a while for which I’m sorry. But it really is necessary for me to have an issue tracker I like using =)

Another minor bug I found was on the homepage it self. Apparently only Safari was able to render it properly since I forgot to close a tag (embarrassing) but it is fixed now.

So no more from me today. I’ll continue with my bachelor thesis now.
